The Isegora Mission
We believe that every student — no matter their school, team size, or financial background — deserves access to the tools that help them succeed. Brendan Finnegan founded Isegora with this in mind. This mission drives everything Isegora does: from publishing open-source briefs to building an evidence vault anyone can use. Isegora is about leveling the playing field, so debate isn’t just for the privileged few.

Brendan Finnegan
Founder and Director
Brendan is a political science student, LD coach, and former circuit debater who founded Isegora to make prep more open and accessible. He runs the project, organizes the Evidence Vault, oversees brief production, and manages the website.
Neel Shrivastava
Co-Director
Neel is a co-director at Isegora focused on backend support. He contributes to brief research, helps coordinate the Evidence Vault, and assists with ongoing efforts to grow the project’s network. His work supports the logistical and operational side of Isegora’s mission.
